Water-l Information:
This list was created by the WATER Committee (Watershed Agency Team for Enhancing Resources), an interagency group that coordinates watershed management efforts in Indiana. After years of meeting face-to-face, we decided to use email as a means of inexpensive communication among us and among others who have not participated in the WATER Committee. Appropriate topics for this list might include:
- Ideas that have worked in your watershed
- Questions about how to address a specific watershed problem
- Conferences and other opportunities for training
- New water quality issues and/or regulations we all should know about
To help the list function as well as possible, please remember the
following:
* Follow the instructions and guidelines in the welcome message (above).
In particular, remember that messages to everyone should go to the LIST
<water-l@purdue.edu> while
messages about subscribing or unsubscribing should go to the LISTSERVER
<water-l-request@purdue.edu> (which goes to a machine.)
* Topics discussed should be relevant to water quality or watershed management
in Indiana.
* The list is free and open to anyone who wants to subscribe. You may join
or leave at your will.
* Please save these instructions so that you have them when you want to
unsubscribe.
This list is currently managed by Brent Ladd, Extension Water Quality Specialist
