Event Goals
The primary goal of Indiana Rivers Rally is to enhance understanding and appreciation of Indiana’s rivers and streams. Many residents already share a keen sense of appreciation and participate in river-related organizations. Indiana Rivers Rally will enable those individuals and others to increase their awareness and understanding of Indiana’s water resources.
Indiana Rivers Rally also will provide capacity building opportunities for agencies and organizations involved in using or managing the Indiana’s rivers and streams.
Individuals attending Indiana Rivers Rally will find many opportunities to learn about, discuss, and experience the many amenities and other values generated by Indiana rivers and streams.
The Rally will feature celebratory events, field trips, on-the-river activities, a cookout and bonfire, and much more. Join us for the 2007 Indiana Rivers Rally as we educate, collaborate, and celebrate.
