AS A TWIG BENDS,
SO GROWS THE TREE

Forming Good Habits
in Children to Avoid Obesity

How might your children form bad eating habits?

Ask yourself the following:

  • Do you or your family do the following often, seldom, or almost never?
  • Eat snacks while watching TV?
  • Use food to bribe your children to behave?
  • Eat when bored?
  • Have snack foods such as chips, candy, soft drinks, or crackers in plain sight?
  • Use food to treat the family?
