Friends

Often food is associated with behaviors. Try to focus on the child's behavior without using food.·

  • Food should not be used to reward or to bribe a child for good behavior.
  • Food should not be used to buy the child's friendship.
  • Food should not be used to "soothe" the moody feelings of a child who has been disciplined.
  • Praise a child often for his good deeds.
