Because disaster announcements are often given by audible means, people who are deaf may not receive the information. They may need you to pass along the information as it comes over the radio or television.
People with epilepsy, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, heart problems, and other conditions have strict medication regimens. If the person you're helping doens't have the necessary medications, contact a local emergency medical clinic to get new medications and equipment.
