Indiana Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
This program helps train people to be better prepared to respond to emergency situations in their communities.

National Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
This program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.

Citizen Corps was created to help all Americans answer questions like, "What can I do?" and "How can I help?" through public education and outreach, training, and volunteer service.

Indiana Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (INVOAD)
The purpose of INVOAD is to bring together voluntary organizations active in disaster services to foster more effective response to the people of Indiana in times of disaster.

The Emergency Management Institute (EMI)
Through its courses and programs, EMI serves as the national focal point for the development and delivery of emergency management training to enhance the capabilities of federal, state, local, and tribal government officials, volunteer organizations, and the public and private sectors to minimize the impact of disasters on the American public.

Indiana Dept. of Homeland Security: Division of Training
IDHS provides local trainings around the state covering various topics, such as emergency management and search and rescue.
