Indiana's Food for the Hungry
Emergency feeding programs, such as food pantries, soup kitchens, and meal programs, help to feed more than 25 million Americans. That's one in every 10 people in the United States!
Overcoming limited budgets, uncertain food supplies, less than ideal food storage or preparation conditions, and a seemingly endless stream of those in need can be a difficult task. Through the Indiana's Food for the Hungry on-line database, Purdue University Extension provides a resource to help consumers find local emergency feeding programs.
