Hamilton County Extension Homemakers currently
  total over 200 members in 16 different clubs.

The Extension Homemakers members present educational programs and provide needed resources and services to various organizations and agencies in the Country through strengthening leadership and the home.

Some of the Homemaker's on-going community projects include:

  • Collecting pop can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House
  • Providing books to Head Start children
  • Cooperating with 4-H Junior Leaders for Operation Military Kids
  • Making baby caps and blankets for Riley Children's Hospital
  • Sewing companion pillows for patients at Riley Children's Hospital 
  • Presenting Educational Leader Lessons
  • Providing Scholarships


Extension Homemaker's Sponsored Fair Events

  • 4-H Fair Kitchen - Family meals, sandwiches, salads, and pies.
  • Food Open Show - 4-H Fair, Open for public participation.
  • Craft Open Show - 4-H Fair, Open for public participation.
  • Flower Show - 4-H Fair
  • Adult Fashion Show - 4-H Fair, Open for public participation.
  • Used Book Sale
