Consumer and Family Sciences   

Consumer and Family Science Extension educators provide education to people. Denise Schroeder serves as White County CFS Extension Educator. Extension helps White County communities analyze, identify, and meet the needs of families. Extension provides training for volunteers and paraprofessionals to assist in areas of critical concern to families. While working in collaboration with agencies, community organizations, and educational groups, extension helps address the needs of families. 

Consumer & Family Science Extension Educator is available to provide research-based knowledge for the people of Indiana. Programs, workshops, publications, and other information are offered to help individuals and families achieve economic stability, physical well-being, and emotional psychological well-being.

Consumer & Family Science Educators specialize in three main Areas. They are:
