The Purdue Master Gardener Program

Helping Others Grow

Tri-County Master Gardeners Serve White, Jasper, and Newton County, IN

Classes are held once a year on a rotation basis between White, Jasper and Newton Counties.

The next Master Gardener Program will be held in Newton County in the winter of 2008.

Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6-9 p.m. (Chicago time) beginning January 15

and ending April 1. The final exam will be held on April 8.

What is the Master Gardeners Program?       

The Master Gardener Program is one way the extension service puts knowledge to work and help people grow throughout Indiana. This program helps gardeners grow by providing them with intensive education in horticultural principles. Participants share their new knowledge and help others grow by providing volunteer leadership and service to their communities in gardening activities.
