White County 4-H Youth Program


4-H is the largest youth serving organization in the country. It is a volunteer-led organization that reaches youth through a variety of programs in both rural and urban settings. The White County  Cooperative Extension Service serves as the county headquarters for 4-H Club work in White County.

4-H educational programs are offered through:
    * local 4-H community clubs 
    * after school clubs 
    * school enrichment programs. 

4-H members "Learn by Doing", and develop critical life skills such as decision making, problem solving, managing resources, mastering technology, leadership skills, volunteerism, recognizing self worth and relating to others. 4-H membership is open to all youth between the grades of Kindergarten to 12th grade during the current calendar year.
