right-sized container, what type of soil to use, and many more tips for
a successful container garden.

Basic Vegetable Gardening and Nutrition
Vegetable gardening can provide a fun, relaxing family activity but it
can also provide a supply of fresh, nutritious vegetables throughout the
growing season and beyond. Learn about soil preparation, planting
dates, variety choices, plant care, etc., as well as the nutritional
benefit of eating fresh fruits and vegetables.

Food
preservation is an excellent way to make the most of your garden's
bounty but following proper, safe food preservation guidelines is
extremely important. Learn about USDA-approved food preservation
techniques for a variety of fruits and vegetables.
