4-H Mission: 4-H empowers youth to reach their full potential, working and learning in partnership with caring adults.
No one cares more for children than their parents and family members. It is family who is there every day when children start to discover the world around them. Families who help shape young lives into the adults of the future. 4-H is designed to support the positive and successful development of all youth, with programs designed to increase independent thought, by giving them a sense of belonging, allowing them to participate in community service projects and assisting them to develop self confidence by solving problems and meeting challenges. Working together to complete projects, either with parents or other adult leaders, children are taught valuable life lessons. Lessons that will remain with them for a life time. So no matter the outcome we must strive to remember that there is no such thing as failure when there is learning involved. |
