Pike County 4-H Fairgrounds

(1 mile west of Petersburg on Highway 56 at Hornady Park)

9 o’clock AM to 11 AM: Cattle Check in and weigh in

11:30 AM: Open Heifer Show (short break between Heifer and Steer Shows)

Limited electric is available.

If you have a portable generator, please bring it.

You are encouraged to bring portable tents / shade with you.

Animals must be accompanied by approved health papers and free of diseases.
Do not unload your animals until they have been inspected by an Indiana State Vet.
Registered heifer classes will be determined by breed and age. Registered heifers must have registration papers and legible tattoo. All others will show as commercial heifers by weight.
Steer classes (including dairy beef steers) will be determined by breed and weight.
Show committee will determine class breeds and representative breeds.
Three head or more of cattle needed for breed classes, otherwise animals will show in crossbred / commercial classes.
No generators allowed in barns.
No horned animals will be allowed to show.
No refunds of entry fees will be made.
Late arrivals (after 11a.m.) will be charged an additional $10 per animal.
All exhibitors are responsible for their own clean up.
No artificial fillings, injections, or artificial hair of any kind will be permitted.
All Pike County Beef committee decisions are final.

Cash premiums will be decided after entry money has been collected and expenses paid.
Awards to overall Grand Champions in both Breeding and Market Classes.
Ribbons to each participant in each class.
