Montgomery County

Master Gardener Class

 

Requirements of the Master Gardener Program:

  • Attend a series of 12 weekly classes

  • Score 70% on a take-home exam derived from materials covered in class

  • Volunteer 1 hour community service per hour of training.  Thirty-five (35) hours are to be completed within one year of training.

 

Those completing volunteer commitment will receive certification from Purdue University as Purdue Master Gardener.

o       Class Fees: $75.00 per person or $100.00 per couple who share materials

o       Class Size:  Limited to 25.  Registration fee is required to hold place in class.

o       Class Location: Classes will be held at Montgomery County 4-H Exhibit Hall
