for Local Youth
The “Clovers All Over” promotion begins National 4-H Week to raise funds to
support local 4-H clubs and counties.

Symposium Provides Ways to Fight Against Adolescent
Smoking
The symposium will be held in Nashville, TN from November 6-7, 2009 and is open
to all interested in this important topic.

Youth Program Assistants Needed for Great Programs
at National 4-H Council
Opportunity for youth to gain professional experience and develop leadership
skills in Washington, DC.

Clubs Raise Funds with Treats for Dogs, Cats and Horses
See how your local 4-H youth club can raise funds for their local 4-H clubs and
counties by selling pet treats.

Use Technology to Map Fairgrounds for Emergency Preparedness
The
activity helped prepare youth for higher education and employment in the fields
of science and engineering.

Participate in World Exchange Programs
This summer, through 4-H exchange programs, several 4-H’ers gained experience in
navigating diverse cultures.

All Extension staff are invited to participate in Everyone Ready®, a dynamic
online professional development series in volunteerism.

Foundation for improving their communities.

A California 4-H team collects data for geographic information system- based
service projects.

New Butterfly WINGS Curriculum Now Available
This new curriculum gives opportunities for youth to explore the outdoors
through guided inquiry and report their results on an interactive website.
