What Is Hamilton County Extension ?
Welcome to the Hamilton County Extension Office!
Located in Noblesville, IN, we are here to serve the
residents of Hamilton County. Purdue Extension Hamilton
County is the informal, educational outreach program
of Purdue University, Indiana's land grant university.
What Can Extension Offer Me?
Besides 4-H and Youth Development, the Purdue
University Cooperative Extension Service provides
educational opportunities in agriculture, horticulture,
consumer concerns, family issues, leadership, and
community development. Founded nationally in
1914, the Extension Service has served Hamilton
County since 1918 when the first "County Agent"
was hired. Hamilton County currently has three
Extension Educators, four Program Assistants, and
four support staff members.

Along with the incredibly successful 4-H program,
Extension offers kids
many other programs to develop
skills in leadership, decision making,
community involvement,
and self confidence. A variety of camps are
offered
during summer months as well as trips and scholarships.

annually in July, is one
of the finest family events in the state.
