on the 4-H Fairgrounds unless otherwise indicated. 4-H’ers
need to bring to each workshop:½ recipe of buttercream frosting (sample
recipe below, wax paper, decorator tubes (Star#22, Writing#4, Duck Beak
Leaf#349) other tubes are optional, one or two paste colors and tooth
picks, cookie sheet to keep supplies on, paper towels, frosted cake
(ready to decorate), old smock or apron, pair of scissors.
Buttercream Frosting:
2 cups Crisco
2 Tablespoons clear vanilla
½ cup milk
2 lbs. sifted powdered sugar
½ teaspoon butter flavoring
Beat until like whipping cream.

had. 4-H members may only exhibit a project from one discipline at
the fair.

includes officer elections for the Hamilton County Junior Sheep
Association and enrollment. Current 4-H sheep members should encourage
new members to attend.
