Agriculture and Natural Resources

Grant County, Indiana

ANR Program Description

The agriculture and natural resources (ANR) program serves a diverse Grant County audience:

  • Traditional agriculture is served though programs such as private pesticide applicator recertification programs, and through topics such as integrated pest management, farm management, agronomy and animal science.

  • Residents and homeowners can benefit from information about pest identification and control, home lawn & garden information, trees and landscape plants. Many enjoy the popular Master Gardener program.

  • Educational venues include personal consultations, group meetings (traditional meetings or connecting with Purdue specialists via 2-way IP video), newspaper articles, and radio spots.
