Madison County's 2009 Crop Production Clinic will be held December 2, 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. with an optional Ag Outlook (Chris Hurt) at 2:30 p.m. This program will be held at the Madison County 4-H Fairgrounds, Alexandria, IN. It has been approved for Private Applicator credits, 3 CCH’s in 1 and RT, 1 CCH for 7d, and 4 CEU’s for Certified Crop Advisors. Register by calling 765-641-9514. RSVP is appreciated for catering purposes. The meal is sponsored by Madison County Farm Bureau, Inc. and Farm Credit Services of Anderson, IN.

January 13, 2009: 2008-2009 Indiana Beef Cattle Association (IBCA) and Purdue Area 8 Beef Meeting

     Cass County Fairgrounds – 7 p.m.

     The meetings will feature great food, valuable information on beef issues, policies and programs. IBCA will provide an update on policy and programs, and Purdue will share a presentation on preparing for forages, entitled “Are You Treating Your Soil Like Dirt?”
