Planning Session for Clinton County Fair
Speaker:
The Clinton County Master Gardeners participate in a large number of projects and activities through the year. Here are examples of a few.
Garden Show
The Master Gardeners have held their Garden Show in conjunction with Agstravaganza the last two years. The booth has included a question and answer station, potting shed for kids, plant sale and soil testing. They also man a similar booth at the Clinton County and 4-H Fair
Demonstration Garden
In the fall of 2003 the Clinton County Master Gardeners began planting a demonstration and teaching garden at the Clinton County Fairgrounds. Here are some pictures of Master Gardeners at work and also a good illustration of just how well perennials will establish themselves and "fill in" during a season.

Garden Tour
The First Clinton County Garden Tour was held on June 26, 2005. Clinton County Master Gardeners co-hosted this program with the Clinton County Adult Literacy Program, to raise funds for the Adult Literacy Program. Over 80 people attended this program on a very warm (but dry) afternoon. Six locations throughout the county were tour sites, displaying a wide range of plants, landscapes and designs.
