- Utilize information from Needs Assessment Surveys to design initiative.
- Create partnerships with local educational institutions-IUPUI, Martin University, and Ivy Tech.

- Monthly parent support meetings
- Parent workshops, lectures, and experimental activities
- Educational support that includes:
- educational counseling
- parenting videos, books, and resources
- parent camps at Purdue University

Outcomes:
- Parents' attitude towards educational achievement is reinforced and validated by improved student grades.
- Parental involvement in Science Bound activities reaches 75 percent.
- Parents seek other community resources that help their children grow and excel.
- Parents and mentor teachers will achieve a 70 percent inrease in maintaining educational standards as a result of better communication.
- 30 percent of parents complete their GED and college education in a local State college.
- Parents will gain increased awareness and understanding of the nation's shifting economic base towards technology, science, and math education.
- Parents gain increased knowledge of the college admissions process and other scholarship opportunities.
