Mini 4-H - Johnson County

 
WHAT IS MINI 4-H?
  • Mini 4-H is an educational, hands-on, non-competitive learning opportunity for our younger youth in the 1st and 2nd grades. There is no enrollment fee and there are no meetings. After enrolled, project manuals will be available for your youths desired project areas.

    HOW DO I ENROLL IN MINI 4-H?

  • Return the Mini 4-H Enrollment Form to the Johnson County Extension Office, 317-736-3724 BY MAY 1st, 2009!.
  • Once the enrollment form is returned to the Purdue Extension - Johnson County Office, families have the option of picking up their manuals or having them delivered to their child's elementary school. NOTE -- for elementary school delivery, enrollments must be received by May 1st!!

    HOW MANY PROJECTS CAN I TAKE?

  • 1st grade members may take one or two projects. Follow the division 1 guidelines.
  • 2nd grade members may take up to four projects. Follow the division 2 guidelines, even if haven't done the project before.

    WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

  • Your completed project will be displayed at the Johnson County 4-H Fair (Franklin, IN) during fair week in July. All participants will receive $1.00 premium money and a blue ribbon! (All projects must be brought to the Fairgrounds on the Thursday prior to the Fair, more info will come for enrolled members.)
