Smart Sitter

Come and learn how to become a Smart Sitter!

Learn how to be prepared for sitting with infants, toddlers, and young children.
Learn the basics about child development stages, age appropriate toys, first aid
and safety, and what to do in emergencies. Roll play is used to learn how to handle a variety of
situations with children and strangers.

 The 3 hour class includes videos, scenarios, toy activities and role playing. Participants are provided with a folder of l
earning materials to use for future reference.  A certificate ispresented for completion of the class.
Cost is $10.00 per student.  The program is presented by the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service for
groups of 15-20 children for school enrichment, youth groups, etc.
